Now this is an exhibit I would go to!

Artist and Sculptor Hyungkoo Lee designed these Toons if they were fossils. They were designed with Resin, aluminum sticks, stainless steel wires, springs and oil paints. The exhibit is in Korea right now but it got the attention of alot of Animators.//

Have you played with the Mii Editor? It's a nice lil' editor that mimics the Mii Channel. If anyone's interested, I have a little project for ya. Go to Mii Editor Dot Com & create a Mii that best resembles you. Next save it by clicking file, Then click Save. You will get a file titled "miibinary.mii". Save it on your Hard Drive, Rename it with your own Name or Nickname & E-mail me your Mii file. I want to design a nice Wallpaper or collage.//

Do ya know who these people are? C'Mon, Take a wild guess...Nothing? Well, This a pic of Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor. These two have been in the Voice-Over business for over 40 years. What makes this trivia special is that these two are the voices of Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse! But that's not the interesting part! They are also married. Funny thing...I've found this @ the Wiki Boards:

"Russi Taylor is married to Wayne Allwine, The current voice of Mickey Mouse, Much in the same way in private life (according to Walt Disney) the fact that Mickey and Minnie are married."

It's not hard to find pics of Voice-Overs, Getting footage of them working is though. As a Cartoon Historian/enthusiast, I'm still doing research on other V-Os. I've been on the lookout for Lorenzo Music (The voice of Garfield), Got pics but no footage of him. Here's a quote from Jim Davis talking about Music:

Lorenzo Music was a man "whose face I've never seen."

This may have been a tongue-in-cheek joke referring to the fact that Music avoided being photographed, Or possibly was in reference to Music's positioning in the voice recording studio, Where only the back of his head was visible from the studio's sound engineering booth.//

- The aftermath of Manaphy:

So I went to Toys 'R' Us for the Manaphy Event, There were lots of kids around. I was surprised! It was 12:00 on the dot...I met my old friend Steve and said Hi and stuff, He didn't know this was going on & he's the head of 'R' Zone! I went to the back office to get the actual WiFi DS Receiver so that everyone can download the rare Pokemon. I read the letter attach to the box and help posted the sign for everyone can see how to get Manaphy. Interesting way of getting it, I didn't know that when you turn on the Game, It searches for a signal when you are about to continue your saved game. Very clever Nintendo...Very clever indeed.//

So after I gotten my Manaphy, I looked for anyone to trade with me. No luck, Ya see the parents wanted to leave right after their kids downloaded their Manaphy so they can do whatever they had to do so I couldn't trade with anyone. Sucks...//

- A Question of Conscience:

Poor Carina, She just started to LOVE her new position of Assistant Manager @ Hollywood Video. But the Store is closing down! Not the franchise mind you, Just six of the stores. So now the store is selling EVERYTHING inside until the corporation says to stop. (I'm guessing One and a Half Months...) Funny thing is, Me, The Manager & The District Manager are hording most of the DVDs and games! The District Manager gave me a WHOLE BUNCH of XBOX 360, Wii, & PS3 game to keep just because I'm not working and I have been helping them out on the side as long as I'm with Carina, She works the register & I'm cataloging everything! So what do you do with games you can't play? Go to GameStop of course! Some of the games I kept for my Bro-In-Law, The rest I traded them in. I got around $180 of In-Store credit! I purchased DDR SuperNOVA 2 (FINALLY!) and a few Pre Played GBA games. I kept the rest for Carina to buy whatever she wanted. I also gotten lots of DVDs to keep, Some movies I wanted to get but some people already bought them and stuff...Oh well, Ya can't be too picky I guess...//

My first CD I ever bought was the wipEout XL soundtrack which featured Prodigy. From there on, I took upon myself to get an album from every artist in that Soundtrack CD which eventually got me into Photek!//

Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal...WTF!? Part 2//

After seeing and playing a small Demo of Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal, I've come to an conclusion: It's somewhat descent in overall design. Still, I don't approve of the usage of Guns like in the Trailer. But the "Arsenal" that the Toons uses are brilliant! For example, Bugs uses his trademark Banjo, Daffy uses an mallet and so on...But I had an epiphany. Why not use NERF products to use in the game? Two companies can join together in a marketing force with this venture, Just a thought...Ya hear that Warner Bros.!?//

The game will be featured on three platforms each with Exclusive Content:

- Wii: The game will have special controls tailored to the Wiimote.
- XBOX 360: The game will feature a Deathmatch Mode with XBOX Live Leaderboard Achivement Content.
- Playstation 2: This version will feature an exclusive Racing Level with Wile E. Coyote added to the roster.

One cool aspect is the Official Site, which features Downloads, Story Design and my personal favorite...Cartoon Inspiration! They have on the site, actual full six minute Cartoons to show what inspired the Game Designers for the levels. The only downside is that on certain parts of the Cartoon, It'll stop to show "Special Trivia Pop-Ups". This is more hurtful than helpful. Here are the Cartoons playing now:

Speaking of Duck Amuck, The site also shows a Game for the Nintendo DS based on the Cartoon. It's pretty much a Daffy Duck Simulator, You have to outdo the Duck as you try to get his Aggression Meter up. This looks promising! This is the Extended Trailer for the Game. I'm Twenty Eight, God I feel old...//

Nothing much happened. I really don't celebrate it...In fact, I almost forgot it. If it wasn't for my friends at Bird Bowl, I would totally missed it. I tried to stay under the bed...but I had to take Synwolf to work and helped out a friend of mine at some High School. He's a teacher at an Magnet School and he wanted some suggestions on a Mascot Design he wanted for the 2nd Floor Art department. Mind you that I don't have to paint it or anything, Just give some ideas and a quick sketch here and there.//

Other than that, nothing...It's really slow here in Toonville.//

Manaphy Event @ TRU!//

We Americans are already gearing up for a new Pokemon event.//

There's plenty of time to get ready for it, Starting September 29th...More than enough time to arrange a trip to any Toys 'R' Us nearby.//

As you've probably realised, Manaphy is the Pokemon up for grabs this time, with a Red Scarf attached and forced inside of a Cherish Ball - a Pokeball unavailable through any means other than hacking in the game. It doesn't seem like it has any special moves or anything, so it'll pretty much just be a bragging rights kinda deal, or a nice second Manaphy to sit alongside your Ranger Manaphy.//

You need a copy of D/P, a DS and to get there from between Noon and 3pm.//

I gotta say that Princess Peach is looking very lovely in this dress. Masahiro Sakurai from Sora Ltd did a fantastic job making Peach Strong, Elegant, & Whimsical in this new incarnation.//

NINTENDO & Me//

Nintendo has been with me since 85. Those were good times I tell ya. My first time seeing/playing a NES (or in this case a Famicom) was at a friend's house. It was there that I saw my first game, Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. It wasn't until 86 that I gotten my NES and two games for it: Kung Fu & The Legend of Zelda II: Link's Adventure. Just typing this right now has my head flowing with great memories like the time I beat Zelda II round 2:00am. I couldn't go to school that day, I had a Digital Hangover.//

Showing Your Roots//

Heh, I'm such a Nintendo Freak, I have shirts of Nintendo, Hats as well, Even a Belt Buckle of a NES Controller (Thanks kohzin!) I don't know, I really enjoy Nintendo alot. It's an obsession...I can't help it! It frightens me to see some young punk/goth/rocker wannabe with some sort of Nintendo clothing saying that they're "Old School". They're like what 13-15? The Super Nintendo or the N64 was not the first system! I was there man! I've seen things before you were a twinkle in somebody's eyes! Eh, You can blame Hot Topic for that! I feel old now, Might as well yell at the lil wippersnaps to get the hell of my proverbial lawn!//

Part of the Crowd...Sorta//

Even though I'm a "Nintenfreak", I never liked any of the followings:

- The Mario Kart Series (Gasp! The Horror!)
- The Zelda Series (You CAD You!)
- The Super Smash Bros. Series (Ok! Now, I don't even know you anymore!)

I know what you are thinking (I have a machine for that.) If you were a real Nintendo Nerd, Wouldn't You be playing these games religiously! Of course I would, But then again I'm not going to play a game if I believe the the controlling is not my cup of tea. For example, The Super Smash Bros. Series is a great concept, Has nice graphics, & has the best muti-competitiveness I've seen playing. But the control system is whack IMO. The same goes to the Mario Kart Series. I never really enjoyed these games, But this is MY opinion! Remember that! However, Even though I dislike (Because "Hate" is such a strong word) these Series doesn't mean ALL versions are not playable in my eyes. I don't like Super Mario Kart or Mario Kart 64, or even Mario kart: Double Dash! But I love and treasure to this day Mario Kart DS. The controlling on it is pure heaven to me, & the fact that it's portable doesn't hurt either. Also, I have High Hopes for Super Smash Bros. BRAWL. (Having fingers crossed till Dec.)//

Second Player But First Choice!//

I'm a Luigi fan. There, I've said it! Me & Player 2 have a few things in common, Green is my favorite color...It's also the color of my Birthstone: Peridot. I've always been considered the 2nd banana to some. I'm skinny, Sometimes afraid and somewhat greedy. I think that's it...for now.//

Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal...WTF!? Part 1//

Um...Whats Foghorn Leghorn doing with a Gatling Gun?

This is a screenshot for the upcomming game titled: "Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal".//

Acme Arsenal will feature seven playable characters from the Looney Tunes cartoons, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Gossamer, Tasmanian Devil, and "a special secret character." The Xbox 360 version will support Xbox Live play, and the Wii version will make full use of the motion-sensitivity of the Wii Remote. The action/adventure game will feature single-player or two-player cooperative modes, with gamers engaged in "fast-paced combat," puzzles, and vehicle-based action. Settings for the game include ancient Egypt, Mars, World War II, and Camelot.//

The Story:
The Evil Mad Scientist is fed up with the Looney Tunes and plans to get rid of them once and for all. Using his homemade time machine and giant ACME eraser, he will travel through time and erase the Looney Tunes and their ancestors from existence. Little does he know though that the Looney Tunes have built their own time machine, and will fight the Evil Mad Scientist to save themselves from disappearing.//

I'm having mixed feelings on this one...as a Gamer and as a Cartoon Historian. But for now, Here's the Trailer...Enjoy, I guess.//
